About the event
In this session, we will address the concerns and challenges related to damp and mould in houses, and a new law coming into force in the UK on this very day, 27th October. Awaab's Law is introduced following the tragic death of two-year-old Awaab Ishak in 2020 and sets out strict new timeframes for landlords to investigate and repair health and safety hazards like damp and mould, making them liable if they fail to act.
